What Batch Proof processes
When you verify a laboratory certificate, Batch Proof processes the laboratory you select and the certificate, accession, or verification identifier you enter or scan. If a laboratory requires an additional verification factor, the app may also process that value after clearly asking you for it.
How verification works
The app sends verification details over an encrypted HTTPS connection to the Batch Proof service. The service may send the details to the selected laboratory or open that laboratory's official verification page. Batch Proof uses this information only to return the requested certificate result and operate the service.
Storage and retention
Batch Proof does not require an account. The service is designed not to log request bodies or retain certificate identifiers after completing a request. Hosting and network providers may process limited technical information, such as IP address, request time, and error information, to provide and secure the service.
Reports you save, folder names, favorites, and recent verification history are stored in the app on your device. You can clear recent history in the Library, remove individual saved reports, or remove all local app data by deleting the app.
Payments, affiliate codes, and research links
Apple processes subscription purchases. Batch Proof receives subscription status but does not receive your full payment card details. If you voluntarily enter an affiliate code, Batch Proof sends the code to its affiliate-service provider to validate it and associates the resulting affiliate attribution with the subscription transaction so the affiliate can receive credit. Entering a code does not change your subscription price. Research searches are sent to the U.S. National Library of Medicine's PubMed service; opening a study or laboratory page is subject to that service's privacy practices.
Optional notifications
If you turn on COA reminders, the reminder preference and schedule are stored on your device and delivered locally by iOS. Batch Proof does not upload a notification token, certificate identifier, or reminder history for these local alerts. You can change or disable reminders in the app and manage notification permission in iOS Settings.
Advertising, sale, and medical use
Batch Proof does not use report contents for advertising, does not sell personal information, and does not provide medical advice. A verified result means a matching document was returned by the issuing source; it does not establish product safety, authenticity, or suitability for human use.
Your choices and contact
You can choose not to save a report, clear recent history, remove saved reports, or delete the app to remove its local data. For privacy questions or deletion requests concerning information held by Batch Proof, email support@batchproof.co.site.
